About Me
Biography: Poet and novelist Mark Todd has taught since 1988 at Western State College of Colorado. Conundrum Press published his first collection of poetry, Wire Song, in 2001. Ghost Road Press published his second collection, Tamped, but Loose Enough to Breathe, in 2008. He and wife Kym co-authored the award-winning novel, The Silverville Swindle, Ghost Road, 2006. The sequel, The Silverville Pantiwyckes, comes out in April, 2010. His sci-fi novel, Strange Attactors, is forthcoming in September, 2010. He and Kym have also co-written a screenplay adaptation of The Silverville Swindle, which is under development with a film company. He co-organizes the summer writing institute, Writing the Rockies, each July, and advises and coordinates WordHorde, a bi-weekly town-gown open-mic, featuring out-of-town guest performers, during the academic year.
Non-literary interests: His real passion (besides Kym, of course), is his Thoroughbred, Lucky, and the duo train and compete in dressage and jumping.
